Bosch has launched its oxygen sensors line in a new packaging which includes Quick Response (QR) codes that can be scanned with a smartphone to get immediate product information.

The user can scan the QR code on the new Bosch oxygen sensor packaging and can view information with regard to oxygen sensors from the Bosch mobile site, which includes details of all types of oxygen sensors, as well as helpful hints for diagnosing and replacing them.

According to the company, the user can also view an instructional video that will answer the common questions with regard to oxygen sensor operation, diagnosis and replacement.

The new Bosch oxygen sensor packaging also features a new carbon fiber background and will also incorporate the National Association for Stock Car Auto (NASCAR) performance logo.

Three different types of automotive oxygen sensors are offered by the company including wideband air/fuel sensors, traditional switching-type premium sensors and premium sensors with the company's OE SmartLink connector technology, all of them featuring the new packaging.

Bosch product manager engine management products Sean Lappin said the company continues to offer the oxygen sensors that meet the needs of the installers.

"We believe this new packaging puts an exciting new face on Bosch oxygen sensors, and showcases what makes them the highest-quality oxygen sensors in the marketplace," Lappin added.
