Titanium anode for electrocatalytic wastewater treatment

Wastewater treatment technologies include sedimentation, filtration, flocculation, biodegradation, electrolytic oxidation and other means. (2) Indirect electrolysis Indirect electrolysis refers to the use of electrochemically generated redox substances as reactants or catalysts to convert pollutants into less toxic substances. Indirect electrolysis is divided into reversible and irreversible processes. Reversible process (media electrochemical oxidation) means that the redox can be electrochemically regenerated and recycled during the electrolysis process. Irreversible process refers to the process of oxidizing organic substances produced by irreversible electrochemical reaction, such as chlorate, hypochlorite, H2O2 and O3 with strong oxidation, and can also use electrochemical reaction to produce strong oxidizing intermediates , Including solvated electrons, HO,; HO2, O2- and other free radicals.

The new technology of water treatment by electrolysis has no need to add chemical agents, the equipment is small in size, occupies a small area, and does not produce secondary pollution.
